I'm back at it!

OK so today I was inspired to blog again. I took a little break, I had started a website called Kerri's Closet and spent a lot of time adding my items for sale, etc only to find out wow...it's WAY harder than I thought to get my store searched and working full time and having a son, a life and a passion for shopping, well having www.kerriscloset just wasn't for me after all.

My actual passion is to just share the wealth of knowledge for shopping and saving that I have. OK...well let me be honest, I don't have any savings =( BUT...........I do know how to get the very best deals. Have any of you read the new magazine Smart Shopper by Consumer Reports? Brilliant magazine, brilliant I tell you. If anyone knows anyone who works there, has a contact there, tell them you know someone that has some tips for me them. Yes, that would be me.

So while I am blogging read away but please do not look at my blog grammatically, I'm no writer people, I'm a shopper that loves to talk about the deals I find among other random things. I guess this will be sort of my therapy in many ways.

So I decided to blog again and I opened a little store on eBay to sell the items I just couldn't pass up at the store along with the items I just couldn't pass up at the store for myself but then got it home ripped the tags off only to decide HM maybe I can live without this, I will just list it on eBay. Hey, it works.

So in the future you will find these random blogs with the deals I find, tips and advice on oh anything you want to know so send me some questions or if you want me to find you that somin somin you are dying for but just don't want to pay full price, put me to the test. Retailers, hit me up, I am happy to put my two cents in about your deals, items, etc.

So for now I will close by telling you my latest addictions. By the way I have OCD, no, I'm serious but my OCD is more with shopping than with say um having a clean bathroom mirror like my friend Pam. I get on this kick where I find something and I am hell bent on finding it and I make it happen, it's an obsession...you think I'm kidding but I can put you in touch with my Dr., he can tell you, yes, she's obsessive.

Back to what I was getting at already. So here are some of my recent addictions that I have stumbled upon and low and behold many of them are listed in my latest Shop Smart magazine but I found it before I read it there which is exactly why I should write or blog for them =)

www.gilt.com; www.hautelook.com; www.ideeli.com; www.rownine.com and www.beyondtherack.com

Sales daily, sign up and they send you emails when the sale starts, BE FAST OR YOU WONT GET THE ITEM YOU WANT). Items tend to sell out very quickly. I will say the first time I went onto the site was my favorite day because they had so many deals I wanted but I learned the hard way don't wait or it will be gone and believe me you will have a hard time finding that same deal again.

Different sales everyday, man you can find such amazing deals it is CRAZY, downside, no "exchanges" you can return for a refund (you pay the shipping back) but you can't exchange because their prices change daily and they sell out of sizes quickly. Be sure to get what you want if you find a good price because the next day you will find the same shoes you fell in love with that were 9.95 for 60 in a matter of 24 hours time. Standard shipping no matter how much you order is 6.95. 6pm.com is basically Zappos clearance center. What I have done is get all the shoes I want, if they don't fit or I don't love them I then either list them on eBay or tell my friends and get rid of them that way. I haven't "lost" any money yet but I have earning of eBay, I offer the shoes to my friends at the price I paid so I am their personal shopper.

Here is a perfect example. I got these boots on 6pm.com

I paid $74.00, a day later they were 150.00, retail is $370! Does is get any better than that. Just checked today (a month later and they are currently 92.50).

www.theoutnet.com
This site is good, a bit too pricey for me personally but it does have some honorable mentions and worth checking out.

www.smartbargains.com
This is Loehmann's website, going into Loehmann's is better because you can try the items on and you can find clearance items for DIRT cheap. I have bought a $600 dress at Loehmann's for $20. Plus Loehmann's has an insider club that is free, they send you emails with coupons and you get points for shopping there. I being the insane shopper that I am purchased a card that was $20 for the year that gives me an additional 10% off all items even clearance items. Well worth the $20 if you shop there often.

OK I can't give you all my tips in one blog. More next time!
